Hello, my name is Paul, and I’m a motorcycle rider.  My journey began in 2002 when I purchased my first bike, a Honda CRF450. While it may not be the typical starter bike, I quickly fell in love with off-road riding, which led me to explore street bikes. I started with a Suzuki GSX-R1000, just kidding! I started with a Kawasaki Ninja 250! Over the next five years and several bikes later, I decided to embrace a new trend: Adventure Riding, and I haven’t looked back since. I’m currently on my third adventure bike, a Yamaha Tenere 700.

In the beginning, I didn’t focus much on technique; I simply rode and did my best. I picked up tips from magazine articles and YouTube videos, and eventually, I became comfortable riding off-road. However, owning an adventure motorcycle changed everything for me. Michigan boasts over 4,000 miles of state-designated ORV trails, scramble areas, and forest roads! While I may not ride them all, I certainly plan to try.

Realizing the need to improve my skills, I sought training and began to focus on becoming a better rider. Now, every time I ride, I pay attention and strive for continuous improvement.

This is the mission of Michigan Moto Adventures: to help riders who want to get into dual-sport or adventure riding. We offer beginner-friendly routes and emphasize key skills that enhance riders' confidence while allowing them to ride at their own pace. The best part? You ride our bikes!
